Christopher Lee says, "He's been on 3 Austin Poetry Slam teams. He's
okay, I guess."
Mike Whalen says, "Hi. Like many of you, I've been writing all my life.
I only started reading at mics about two years ago in order to force myself to
learn how to speak better. It's been good to me. I'm plenty grateful to be on
the Austin Poetry Slam Team 2005. Thanks for having me."
Andy Buck says he, "steps back from being a slammer to being a slammer coach
this year. And he couldn't be more regretful. After all, he's an attention
whore who needs the spotlight like a Mormon needs a fifth wife. (Kidding,
Mormons, don't get your temple underwear in a bunch!) But he loves these crazy
kids, and he thinks that whatever happens at NPS 2005, he's already won.
America out of the U.K.? Now!?
